We built a marketing system for one person because we were that one person.
Three bad options.
We were running a business with marketing to do and no marketing team to do it.
The usual options were on the table. Hire people we could not afford. Pay an agency a retainer and wait for a deck. Or keep doing it ourselves, at night, between everything else, across more tools than anyone should have open at once.
So we did the unreasonable thing and built a system instead. One place for the content, the ads, the email, the SEO and the reporting. Built so that one person could run the whole lot without a team behind them, and without becoming a full-time prompt writer.
It worked. One person was doing what we had assumed needed a department.
Then it became the product.
That turned out to be more interesting than whatever we had been marketing.
Every startup we knew had the same problem and the same three bad options. Most agencies we knew had a version of it too: every new client meant another hire.
So Ovrdrive is that system, made into a product. Six modules today, more on the way. It does not replace the person. It makes one person enough.
Marketing is first because that is where we started. The idea is bigger than marketing: one operator per department, for companies that would rather stay small and get a lot done.
